We use to go from OC to the cashinos when i was college all the time. I forget why we got pulled over on the way home from AC, but im sure it was 1-2 am or something, policeman said “you guys should get out of here. I have a gun and a bulletproof vest, and i dont like being here.”

havent been to AC in many years.

Looks like maybe the Tropicana

Yes, the Tropicana in AC.  I had stayed in that tower before so I knew what to expect, but AC hotel rooms are always surprisingly shitty.  Not as bad as the mom and pop motels in wildwood, but worse than chain motels like econolodge

I’ve only stayed at the Taj Mahal. My office manager stayed at Oceans a couple weeks ago and liked it and only like $150 a night.

Last summer, Maricel, Kaenens girlfriend stayed in a random wildwood motel for three nights midweek and I could not figure out the price until I zoomed in on a live video and saw receipt and was like $400 a night and it was like a 150 square foot hotel room with one bed one chair prob two towels and two pillows. Crazy.

Atlantic City is probably my favorite place to hate in the world. First time I was there I was walking to the boardwalk through a parking lot and found the remnants of a small fire with a broken shopping cart, an old office chair, and other trash circled around it, obviously a bunch of weirdos having a little campfire overnight. Then, of course on the boardwalk was a pro wrestling match, complete with a full sized ring, announcer, mustic, and a bunch of WWE wannabees having a match in which they broke 6' fluorescent light bulbs over each other's heads.

It's like the great pacific garbage patch, all the human trash from the NYC to Philly metro just swirls around until it finally clumps together in Atlantic City.

That being said, at 8am on a Saturday it's barely an hour from Philly, so packing a cooler and running down to grab a beach day is still something that's fun to do a few times each summer. I'll only park at the far north end of town and hit the beach there though. Definitely don't go anywhere near the casinos or actually utilize anything in the town.

Is the benefit to going to Atlantic City beach’s, no beach tag needed?

I played at the taj 6 weeks before it closed, it was a pretty depressing  scene, but the taj was awesome cause it was so gaudy and over the top.  I’ve stayed at harrahs 4-5 times, trop 2, and ballys once.  None of the hotels impressed me, but the casinos are cool cause they are 80s-90s style with gold and mirrors everywhere lol

You mean the Bahamas…they have Jimmy Buffett and buffets. Both of which I approve..honestly I like buffets better so yeah maybe we go on a cruise sometime..tell your sister that the inside cabins are better…will save us a couple sheckels for our honeymoon to Niagara Falls..international AF and a flagship Courtyard by Mariott on the New York side..

Ok, but my sister will be bringing her boyfriend. You, me and Matt Edge can share an indoor cabin with triple bunk beds.

were they aware of your presence? Did they just walk by or check you out at all?  Curious

Nope. they crossed the road and went into the woods. Once they were really far out I whistled. The mama bear turned her head then kept walking. I was in the car and ready to peel off if I needed to lol

Way to get after it..it might be hard for me to catch up to you in days if Blue doesn’t open soon..

I am not a speed racer.  Just an old man recapturing some youth in the park and making sure everything stays super safe in the new england trees later in the season!
