Heading home from JFBB orientation, I hit up the pro night at Alpina and picked me up some Sunice GoreTex shell pants since I no longer fit into my old ones for some reason or another. No cargo pockets on the legs though which might suck since I'm used to stashing shit in those, but oh well they fit good.

First pair of pants I've bought with the gore tex, so hoping it was worth the extra $$.

Just picked up some Oakley A frames... Anyone on here have Hi intensity yellow lens? I want to pick these up as a second lens and I am curious how good they work at night, I know they are great for flat/low light and I assuming they would be decent at night too.

they work better at night than any lens they make aside from maybe clear, but that's more of a preference thing. i like HI yellow better, personally.

none of it's in my possession yet, but i've got lange rx130s, pivot 14s, and ON3P jeffreys on the way.

That is what I figured, seems like clear lens would be a waste of money when the HI yellow could serve two purposes night, and days with flat light

2004 ski doo summit 800

good choice on getting something pretty current too.....i had 3 old snowmobiles and it seems like i spent more time fixin them than i did riding them. worst place to have a toy that requires a decent snowbase is PA too.

Beware...Buckmans sets DINs way too low. A binding check turned out to be a waste of money....

you can sign off on the binding release and request a specific setting. everything that comes out of any ski shop in this country, unless you sign something that says otherwise, should be set according to your height, weight, age, boot sole length, and skier type. buckmans doesn't do anything any differently than any other shop in that regard.

Nestors had them set to 11.5 with no special sign off. Buckmans....8.5

11.5 holy shit, either your riding Markers (lol) or I'm really old lol

I knew a dude at Bear they called the doctor, made about six trillion jump turns every 100 yards. A serious muscle rider for sure, he ran 916 ninja lab's at 16 across the board......would have been better off bolting his boots directly to the boards.

pretty sure he's rocking px's now, but i could be wrong. i run my px's on my seths at 10 toe and heel, and my pivots on my park skis at 9 in the toe, 10 in the heel. 11.5 on a look binding is scary to me. i'm comfortable with the elastic travel in that binding doing its job. i don't think my skis came off once last year when they shouldn't have, aside from the airbag at blue.

and riding a 16 on that binding is worthless if forward pressure and toe height arent set properly. when i used to ride salomon bindings, i had the things cranked to 12 and would still pull my ski off mid mute grab because the toe height and wing adjustments would loosen throughout the day. awesome bindings if they're dialed in properly though.

stop trying to act core. there is no way in hell your chart is 11.5. My chart is 9.5, and I am 6'3", 230 lbs.

I took note of what they were before I dropped them off...and what they were after. Nothing 'core' about that. Just simply stating a fact. They were set previously by Nestors (a core shop, nevertheless), and never touched by me.
