Hit the hill with Hayata this morning. Started on a smooth and nicely edgeable Free Fall, paradise from there down was a little rough, Challange up next, really nice, smooth and grippy ROTD. Scoped Razers from the lift, looked rock solid. Nobody was skiing it so we passed on it. Ran NM/DW which was mostly good, a little rough just above the big curve. Lazy was very nice left and right side. Switchback was great except the sticky spot at the very end leading to a slick boiler plate area on main. The bumps on Main were good with some fresh blown on them, but still some to the turf holes in the middle. Headed back for more challenge which was even better. Tried razors which had softened up beautifully. Great day.7 points

Just got home from another afternoon in paradise. Arrived at Blue The True at Twenty to Two. Hey, that rhymed, if I had GSS skills I'd finish this report as a steezy rap. Anyhow at first the snow was super sticky and glue like in spots but as soon as the sun angle changed it sped up again. The sun was shining bright and everything was nice and edgable including Razors which was bumped up a bit at the top from the skeezers enjoying making lots of turns on it. Spent most of the day lapping Nile Mile training body mechanics doing flat ground spins and budders in every direction. All in all JADIP.3 points

The quad lift line was basically dirt. Maybe 1/2" of snow to speak of. Coming Soon was the ROTD for me. Could crank turns straight down the fall line right into Paradise.3 points

That hand written letter looks photoshopped. However, if it’s legit, 2 points: 1. Ron from Montana didn’t write that. That is clearly female handwriting. No male on planet earth could write that neat. 2. Why the hell would you cram 2 sentences on top of each other between lines when the paper is already college ruled?3 points

Was up last night for 5 “runs” teaching my GF to snowboard. Took 3 runs off the carpet and 2 runs off little E lift. She did pretty good for her first time and never being on a board of any sort ever before lol.3 points

Just got home from a fun afternoon at Blue The True! Arrived at the lower lot at 1pm and didn't notice any recognizable life in the PASR area nor where some friends park so off I went to venture the whole mountain including the extreme double black terrain all on my own. Snow was quite nice and back to what you would expect for an average mid March winters day. There was a rebuild in Come Around with the rainbow box replacing the battleship up top for those interested. All in all JADIP. 😇3 points

While I'm not big on writing long trip reports..I am almost ready to land in Seattle for a quick 3 day trip to visit a friend and hopefully get two days on my snowboard before catching a red-eye back to EWR Friday night. I plan to hit up Crystal Mountain and Snoqualmie (Apental). At minimum some pictures to follow.2 points

Hey All, It’s almost another weekend and as spring approaches, it looks like we could have a very wintry weekend of skiing and riding. Is anybody planning on skiing Blue mountain this weekend? I’m planning on both days.2 points

Yep - in for Epic Local for 676 unless Ikon adds a decent PA option. And the new Teen pricing tier on Epic Local ($547) makes it cheaper for us than last years pricing. So we will get 3 Epics and no Indy for 23-24 Gonna max out visiting Indy resorts this Skison - after my 2nd consecutive Stowe day today.2 points

Did an afternoon session at Eldora today. It was a sunny warm day with no wind. So rare for Eldora. Started out on the front side. The snow wasn’t great. Hasn’t snowed in a while and things were pretty scraped off. After 4 different runs in the front I went to the backside to see if the snow was better there. And it was a bit. Corona trail was pretty scraped off as it’s the main one on that side. Then I did a couple on Muleshoe, that snow was much better. Did one more back there forget the name then called it a day. No lift lines whatsoever. I miss Crested Butte. Lol2 points

Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. 22 was all backed up and I don’t love the cut through from 309 to 145 with morning traffic so I drove through the lovely town of slatington to Mountain View road..it’s been years since I took that Root. On the drive up I rocked out to Baby Bash and T Pain. Arrived at the lower lot at 830am and it was in the low 30s with 20-30mph winds. In the house were Johnny Law, Atomic Jeff, C1 and the Bethlehem ford crew minus Bethlehem ford guy. First civilian super summit safari six pack to Main Street which was smooth cord with some skeet spots. Up the quad to nightmare dreamweaver which had nice snow but was in a wind tunnel. Coming soon had the best snow on the hill..smooth, semi firm and I think they blew a little bit. I repeated coming soon a few times, did challenge once which was decent while razoes looked horrible..then back to main and back to coming soon. All in all a fun session, the snow was easily a 7.5-8 out of 10. There were a lot of instructors around the hill but otherwise pretty empty.1 point

I have the same plans for April as far as continuing to make turns where possible. My weekends are Thurs/Friday. I seen Killington is offering a late seasons pass for around $350 unlimited until they close in May........ Kind of hard to ignore.1 point

I forgot to add the mens room chatter was of a highly technical instructor certification taking place today. Must explain why there were so many blue coats out earlier. Crowds were very light and I never had to share a chair.1 point

Def not as soft tonight as it was today. Had some sugar, glacial, and firm crud to play in tonight. Windy af and they surprised us with turning the guns on around 630. Guns at top were only filling in the Appalachian Trail and the lower guns went straight into the trees so hopefully the winds quit to make it worth it. Lazy was the ROTN and even got to share a lift with mBike and Mrs Bunski ✔️ Last pic is the unmarked 4 foot hole on lower sidewinder.1 point
