Rode through Gilberton in Schuylkill County (da Skook) today. Flooded due to clogged pipes. Also met WFMZ reporter Julie Parise. She took my picture.

Mowed today. No lines, just crop circles. Not sure why, but the grass was probably at least a foot tall in spots. I usually do my first cut on july 4th. Never this high in the past.  I might have to cut 3 times this year.

On Saturday, Birms was put down peacefully. The vet found cancerous tumors and cysts on intestines. 😕 He led a pretty rad life. I snapped this photo on our last walk.

I'm glad he got to experience skiing down Burma Road and hanging out in the parking lot. You may have noticed him lurking by the meats at the Mt Bleu end of the season party.

Sorry to hear - I haven't had a dog since I was in high school, but losing them is always tough.  He was a cool dog.  Have a few pics from blue of him on my phone and my daughter likes to scroll through the pics and point him out.

Fuck that is terrible to hear. Losing an animal is always so tough. It's awesome that you gave your dog so many great experiences. What a life!

Oh man....so sorry to hear this.  Dogs are so awesome.  You did the right things in many ways, although its tough to let go for sure.  i know the feeling well.
