Might be left with Vista open, but their marketing is just shooting for "only PA slope open in April", I think.

Thats a good marketing campaign. so here is the rub.....if the weather is calling for rain all weekend, do they open on a day they would normally close because of rain? That would be pretty funny.

That would be pretty funny. Well, I think they're closing at 4pm Sunday 3/30, probably to preserve what little snow there'll be left. The warm rain is going to put an even bigger hit on it. So long as they open the first weekend in April (why they're not opening Friday is beyond me), I don't think they give a rat's ass about the rain after that.
toast21602 Posted March 27 Report Posted March 27 I was accidentally added to the Blue Mountain leadership group chat and saw that they are opening up at least one of the days of April 5/6 next weekend. 3 1 2
RidgeRacer Posted March 27 Report Posted March 27 I must say that I love the “we’re gonna go as long as we can” approach. Reminds me of old school killington. 3

Reminds me of old school killington. Except they’re closed all these weekdays when the snow keeps melting away…it’s really no different than any other season. This Sunday will prob be their closing day

RidgeRacer Posted March 28 Report Posted March 28 Happened to me at killington a long time ago. Waited about an hour on the k1 chair. Once it started moving they had people handing out vouchers a the top redeemable for a free soft drink. A free latte from first tracks would have been a nice gesture for you guys 1

A free latte from first tracks would have been a nice gesture for you guys At sugarbush I was stuck on the lift for like an hour and a half on a warm day and they gave me a coupon for a free hot chocolate and I had to sweet talk my way into a soft drink instead. A couple times I received vouchers for future days due to weather issues like wind holds and what not even if I skied a few runs already. Edited March 28 by GrilledSteezeSandwich
