Opening weekend roll call 12/6-12/8…

Hey All,

 

It’s almost opening day and opening weekend.  In two and a half short days, Blue mountain the true mountain opens for their 48th season. They snowmaking cannons have been going balls to the walls for several days and continued seasonably cold weather with periods of sun and clouds will persist throughout the weekend.  
 

Anybody planning on skiing this weekend or are yall waiting until more terrain opens?  I’m planning on being there…and I think it’s gonna be a nice opening weekend. I usually don’t start these threads until Wednesday but I’m so Excited….

Planning on all three days. Should be there shortly after frist chair Friday — the boys bus doesn't come until 830, lol. Saturday morning with the boys, Sunday just Pops and I. Amd the grill. Maybe.

I will only be there Friday morning and maybe again Friday afternoon for a few turns... Heading to the twin cities for the weekend for a sportsball game.

Bizzaro ski dream last night. It took me half an hour to get from the parking lot through the base lodge. Wall to wall people., I made it through an realized I forgot my goggles and helmet.and it was nuking ,turned around to go back and then woke up lol.

Probably not...busy all weekend.   Was going to go tomorrow but work has been crazy the past 2 weeks and I'm sure will be the same tomorrow

Snow line looks like 700’ Im 860’ 

This morning was spicy, Center valley was good but 378 South of Bethlehem was a sheet of ice.
